The House of Prayer – San Diego
A community of believers who felt it was time to gather in worship and pray for our county. 2 Chronicles 7:14 state: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Gods word is eternal and infallible. That truth is absolute and determined by Gods word. To know God as he has revealed Himself in His holy scriptures

To see the will of God manifest in our all areas of out government. From the legislature throughout the judicial and executive branches. To pray for God’s will to be reflected in our government.

We believe that the body of Christ should be seen through how we live our lives. Many of our members are active throughout the community, seeking to release Gods love through acts of kindness and compassion as God directs.

“From the rising of the sun, even to its going down, MY NAME shall be great among the gentiles; in every place incense shall be offered to my name, and a pure offering; for MY NAME shall be great among the nations, says the LORD OF HOSTS” Malachi 1:11

Psalm 149 Mandate
Psalm 149 talks about the incredible power of prayer. It says that in rasing up the high praises to God, thing begin to shift. There is such great power the praise and prayer that it has the power to:
“… bind their kings with fetters Break forth with dancing!
Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of drums!
4 For he enjoys his faithful lovers.
He adorns the humble with his beauty
and he loves to give them the victory.
5 His godly lovers triumph in the glory of God,
and their joyful praises will rise even while others sleep.
6 God’s high and holy praises fill their mouths,
for their shouted praises are their weapons of war!
7 These warring weapons will bring vengeance
on every opposing force and every resistant power—
8 to bind kings with chains and rulers with iron shackles.
9 Praise-filled warriors will enforce
the judgment-doom decreed against their enemies.
This is the glorious honor he gives to all his godly lovers.

The Passion Translation
Our desire is to hear the heart of God and then fervently praise and pray to see God’s will manifest in this place at this time. To see Gods kingdom come through intersession and prayer. We are a house that contents with that which opposes the will of God. To pray with love and compassion for the lost and hurting.
